Railway Works
Claret Civil Engineering is a link up approved contractor with P.T.S (Personnel Track Safety) trained staff and operatives enabling us to carry out all manner of works within the railway industry.

Our range of experience and services within the industry include:
  • Station Refurbishment - repairs to drainage systems, platforms and buildings.


  • Embankment Stabilisation - installation of ground anchors and soil nails and construction of gabion and R.C retaining walls to stabilise embankment failures.


  • Bridge Reconstruction – dismantling of redundant structures, installation of new bridge foundations and wing walls.


  • Site Investigation – soils investigations and reports to access the condition of embankments.


  • Culvert Renewal/Reconstruction – Installation of under track crossings for drainage purposes on new pumping mains and the cleaning and repairs of existing structures.


  • Vegetation Clearance – Removal and disposal of light vegetation or dense trees to both cuttings and embankments, including the cleaning of lineside ditches.


  • Earthworks to Embankments – Re-grading of embankment slopes and removal of surplus material.


  • Access works to the railway infrastructure.


In line with our other emergency services, works of an emergency nature within the railway industry can also be carried out in order to accommodate possession times and reduce disruption to the end user.
